HPS carcoat

The HPS "Faces of the City" carcoat is a carefully crafted statement piece that exemplifies our commitment to both sustainability and artistry. The carcoats journey began as a carefully selected vintage coat sourced from the vibrant streets of Copenhagen.

In our CPH office space, the coat has undergone a hand-dyeing process, resulting in a captivating shade of blue that adds a touch of sophistication to this iconic garment.

The standout feature of this carcoat is the patched artwork that covers its back, the artwork is carefully crafted using surplus fabrics from previous projects, allowing us to minimize waste while creating a visual masterpiece that captures the diverse tapestry of urban life.

The patchwork portrays one of the countless faces encountered in the bustling cityscape, adding depth and narrative to this unique fashion statement.

The carcoat is made in collaboration with the talented women of Igne:Oya – Tekstil I Tingbjerg, a design workshop located on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
